This is a vintage, manual, portable Olympia SM3 De Luxe green typewriter made In Germany. It is in working order (ribbon not included) and comes with its original grey hard case. Olympia typewriters are known for their durability and sleek German design. Once referred to as the 'Mercedes-Benz' of typewriters, Olympia's products have lasted for decades and have come to be preferred over other modern means of writing by various famous authors and scriptwriters. The SM series began in 1949 and is considered the gold standard of Olympia typewriters. There were nine different models (SM-1 to SM-9) but many contemporary authors swear by their SM-2s and SM-3s.
The size of the typewriter is 13 x 12.5 x 5.5 inches and the case size is 14.5 x 14.5 x 6.25 inches.
