Upcycled vintage ship porthole tables made of aluminium and glass in a Retro style. The portholes were reclaimed from a ship in Bombay and date back to the 1970s. The aluminium stands are handmade to size and make an unusual and innovative new use for these collectible portholes.
The Retro style refers to designs that were popular during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Retro furniture and objects often feature bold colours, geometric shapes, and modern lines, giving them a distinctive and eye-catching appeal. The 1950s, in particular, saw a big transition in design and manufacturing because of new materials like plastic, vinyl, plywood and laminate
