Description

With its glass core tempered in thick ridges, the 1960s ship lantern by Ahlemann + Schlatter is an interesting copper collectible lantern. The words DIN 89950 are inscribed on the surface around the base. Two plates with the words 'X 4929' and 'Ahlemann + Schlatter, Bremen, metallwarenfabrik' are also found at the base.
The German company Ahlemann + Schlatter was founded in 1868, and from 1872, it specialised in the production of ship lanterns.
