A truly special piece from Tamil Nadu, this beautiful collectible features Nandi, the mount of Lord Shiva, holding a mantapa (or mandapa) on its back. Mantapas are open, porch-like structures found at Hindu temples, and is typically a key part of the temple compound. The Nandi Mantapa is used by Shaivites as an altar for Shiva, where they would give offerings to the Lord.
