Mantapas are open, porch-like structures found at Hindu temples, and is typically a key part of the temple compound. The Nandi Mantapa is used by Shaivites as an altar for Shiva, where they would give offerings to the Lord.
This old and rare piece, crafted exquisitely in bronze, is detachable and has three distinct parts - the Nandi, the altar area or mantapa and the dome like roof or top covering.
