ABOUT H.R. Das
Read MoreBorn in 1972 in Burdwan, West Bengal, H.R. Das obtained his B.F.A from the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh. In 2007, he had solo shows at the Bajaj Art Gallery (Mumbai) and the Art Entrance (Mumbai). He has participated in numerous groups shows as well, which include exhibitions at the Lalit Kala Akademi (New Delhi) in 2002 as well as the Mahua Gallery (Bangalore) in 2007.
Inspired by Hindu mythology, the Bull or Nandi plays a prominent part in his paintings. Vibrant and dominant, his bulls are full of character that give his paintings a powerful feel.
