Kartikeya, also known as Murugan or Subramanya, is the Hindu God of War. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati and brother of Ganesha. Kartikeya's life story has many different versions in Hinduism. He is typically represented as a youthful man, with a peacock beside him. Exquisitely crafted in bronze, this sculpture of Kartikeya has intricate details carved on the entire figure as well as the base. This old collectible is in good condition, having undergone normal time related wear.
