Gowri or Gauri, also known as Shakti, is a form of Parvati, the Hindu goddess of fertility, love and devotion, as well as of divine strength and power. A central deity in the Trinity of Goddesses in Hinduism (Tridevi), she is known by many names and is worshipped as the Mother Goddess. This old brass head of Gowri is a rare find from Maharashtra. A collector’s item, it is in good condition with normal wear.
