Venkateshwara or Venkateswara is a form of the Hindu God Vishnu, popularly referred to as Tirupati Balaji. The name Venkateshwara literally means 'Lord of Venkata', and is a combination of Venkata (a hill in Andhra Pradesh) and Isvara (lord). His most prominent temple is the Tirumala Venkateshwara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
