Raju Maravi
Raju Maravi was born in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, and moved to Bhopal after completing his schooling. He was introduced to Gond painting through his uncle Anand Shyam, under whose guidance he developed his practice. His work extends from paper to large-scale wall surfaces, where he explores form through rhythm and repetition. Alongside his own practice, he has participated in workshops and teaches Gond painting techniques to both children and adults. He has also created artwork for Fragonard Parfumeur, designing hand cream pouches that carry Gond art into a contemporary international context.
