About the Exhibition

Artisera

Provenance is a mega exhibition that brings together an exceptional array of 140+ historical collectibles, including vintage furniture, retro objects, classical art, rare prints, sculptures, ritual objects, cultural artefacts, military collectibles, early technology items, Deccan brassware and more. Curated by Oriole Henry, each piece is presented as a testament to the cultural, artistic, and social contexts from which it emerged. The exhibition seeks to illuminate the enduring significance of these objects, not only as artefacts of aesthetic and material value but also as carriers of memory and heritage. By tracing their journeys through time, the exhibition offers viewers an opportunity to engage with history through the tangible presence of its treasures.
Born in 1971 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Oriole Henry is a British exhibition designer and retail merchandiser with over 30 years of experience in both India and the United Kingdom. She has worked with photographers, antiques and different crafts of India, and is passionate about showcasing the rich traditions of India’s past and present as art forms.
