Nagesh Goud
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Nagesh Goud’s figurative, semi-abstract and abstract works take inspiration from the great Indian epics – the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. With symbolism fused into his paintings, he works with strong hues and detailed imagery. An alumnus of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Nagesh Goud participated in numerous group shows in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Gulbarga from 1983 to 2009. He was awarded by the Hyderabad Art Society in 2010, as well as JNTU in 1989-1991 and was “Highly Commended” by the Lalit Kala Samiti, Siddipet in 1987.
