Mansingh Vyam

Born in 1989, Mansingh Vyam grew up in a family of artists. He is the son of the well-known artists Subhash Vyam and Durgabai Vyam. Mansingh often depicts the Gond folklores. His paintings are a perfect balance of the narrative and the imagery, mostly composed of flora and fauna using monochromes with a splatter of colour. He has illustrated for many children's books and participated in various exhibitions. Recently, one of Mansingh Vyam's paintings was presented to the Australian Prime Minister by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
