Manoj Tekam
Born in 1986, Manoj Tekam is a Pardhan Gond artist from Patangarh, Madhya Pradesh. He trained under the guidance of Bhajju Shyam, and this early mentorship is reflected in the discipline and intricacy of his work. Manoj Tekam is known for his highly detailed paintings, where form is built through dense, repetitive patterning, often using mustard-seed-like motifs as a defining visual element. His compositions emphasise surface, texture, and careful mark-making, giving his work a distinctive visual rhythm. His work includes large-scale commissions for restaurant Desi Road in Paris, marking an important expansion of his practice into the international sphere.
