Held in New Delhi from February 12-14, India Design ID 2016 saw some of India´s finest brands and individuals in the home décor, furniture and interiors space come together and celebrate creativity. From amongst the wide range of stunning designs, beautiful displays and unique pieces, here are a few that had us mesmerized!

1. Light Installation by K2India 

This stunning light installation by the Delhi based interior design and architectural firm K2India wowed us with its edgy approach, especially with the combination of air plants aglow with a distinctive allure.

2. Fabric Furniture Installation by Ayush Kasliwal

Inspired by the fall of threads in a jacquard, Ayush Kasliwal of AKFD Studio put together this beautiful installation for Atmosphere, a global luxury home textile brand, using their vibrant fabrics.

3. Mirrors and Table by Scarlet Splendour

Nothing catches the eye more than the classic black and white combination. This delightful table and selection of mirrors by Scarlet Splendour is stylish, chic, and can add spunk to any space!

4. Sarita Handa’s Artisans at Work

Known for innovation, quality and craftsmanship, Sarita Handa‘s booth gave one a close look at the exceptional talent of their craftsmen, seen here working on intricately handcrafted furniture and cushion covers.

5. Horse Installation by Portside Cafe 

This imaginative ‘horse’ installation by Portside Cafe, complete with miniature models of their rich leather furniture and accessories placed on different shelves, took us on a delightful journey of discovery!

 6. Studio Wood´s Trendy Bar

This extremely cool bar with some funky technology, is seen here along with the team from Studio Wood. One can place their mobile phone inside the gramophone to play some music and really liven up the mood!

 7. Anantaya Decor´s Mirrors and Tables

Clean and stylish designs along with intricate hand-painting came together in the beautiful tables and mirrors seen at the Anantaya Decor booth.

8. Butterfly Wall Clock by INV Home

A delicate butterfly wall clock at the INV Home booth took our breath away! Unique and elegant, it could become a statement piece in any room.

9. Rooshad Shroff’s Ink Design Furniture

Displayed at the Godrej Design Lab booth, this furniture exhibit by Rooshad Shroff unfurled the idea of fluidity and motion, taking inspiration from ink swirling through water to create a gorgeous and exquisite effect!

10. Caricature Sculptures by Designer Studio Collectibles

Designer Studio Collectibles presented their entire range of the hugely popular Guillermo Forchino caricature sculptures. This limited edition collection is also available to shop on Artisera.

11. Designer Chair and Bar Cabinet by Alsorg

Known for their distinct creative design, the Alsorg booth had us completely taken in by their display of this classy and glossy designer chair, and a funky and colourful stand-out bar cabinet.

12. Red Blue & Yellow’s Eye-catching Furniture

Original and innovative, this contemporary design had us falling for it, calling for us to sink right in!

13. Wall Texture Exhibit by Sabyasachi for Nilaya

Nilaya by Asian Paints put up an inspiring display of different handcrafted wall coverings, textures and moods. One that caught our eye was this beautiful texture, designed especially by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for Nilaya. The collection of porcelain plates complements the floral patterns beautifully!

14. Bronze Sculpture and Gond Artwork by K2India

A beautiful bronze sculptures and Gond artworks by renowned Gond artist Subhash Vyam, were just some of the many outstanding art pieces presented by K2India.
