A lotus in Akbar's home, the majestic Fatehpur Sikri, shines in its vibrant pink splendour. As the capital of the Mughal Empire, Fatehpur Sikri conjures up images of intricate marble inlay, sweeping Persian architecture, and beautiful Indian embellishments. The Lotus at Fatehpur series is homage to the Mughal era of India’s history, woven through with a delicate script that provides a brief window into a world ruled by regal kings and jewel-bedecked queens. Artistically embellished with 24k gold, against pristine porcelain white, the design elegantly combines the richness of colour and the artistic language of form.
The complete dinner set comprises of 27 pieces - 6 dinner plates, 6 side plates, 6 bowls, 6 napkin rings, 2 serving bowls, and 1 platter. While the minimum order for the set of dinner plates, side plates, bowls and napkin rings is 6 pieces each, the serving bowls and platter can be ordered individually.
Note: Nishita fine dinnerware is made from the highest quality porcelain and it ensures extremely high resistance to chipping and scratching. However, due to the use of gold/platinum in the dinnerware, none of the pieces are microwave or dishwasher safe. Although it is scratch and wear resistant, gold decors are not totally scratch resistant by virtue of their natural material properties.
