ABOUT Ashu Gupta
Ashu Gupta is an emerging and highly promising artist, who creates enchanting pen and ink artworks using hundreds of thousands of repeating patterns, scribbles, circles and lines. A self-taught artist with a degree in interior design and a love for doodling, her deeply layered, mostly black and white compositions offer the possibility of a new interpretation with every glance. Ashu’s subjects are always emphasized, with nothing to distract from the beauty of her stunning pieces. With an artistic style that is both distinct and confident, her works have been collected by serious art collectors, in what are still the early years of her professional journey. Ashu has participated in several group exhibitions across India, and also held a solo exhibition at Gallery Sublime, Bangalore in 2017 and another at Artisera in August 2020, titled ‘Points and Perspectives’. She has been nominated for the prestigious Lalith Kala Academy Awards (2016-17 and 2017-18) and the 2017 Bombay Art Society Awards. The artist lives and works in Bangalore.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Artworks should be displayed away from direct sunlight and breeze. To clean accumulated dust from a painting, use a soft, dry brush very lightly on the surface. Make sure there is no moisture on the bristles before touching the artwork. For repairing more severe damage, such as cracks or discolouration, it is best to seek help from a professional. Once a year, remove the artwork from the wall for a couple of days to let the wall breathe and avoid moisture accumulation.
