This classic and iconic mid-century piece is inspired from the designs of Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret, who was tasked with creating furniture for the newly formed city of Chandigarh in Northern India in the 1950s. Pierre Jeanneret designed chairs for the city, also known as Chandigarh chairs. Original Chandigarh chairs are coveted collectibles today.
