Vadehra Art Gallery

The Vadehra Art Gallery is one of the leading contemporary art galleries of India, situated in New Delhi. Established in 1987, it has become the locus through which the works of both modern and contemporary Indian artists have reached the public. The gallery has worked with some of India’s finest artists from different generations, which include early modernists like M.F. Husain, Tyeb Mehta, S.H. Raza, Ram Kumar and Akbar Padamsee, and the subsequent generation of acclaimed Indian artists such as Anjolie Ela Menon, Ganesh Pyne, A Ramachandran, and Arpita Singh. The art gallery promotes contemporary Indian art and Indian painters through exhibitions, retrospectives, publications and educational programmes. Vadehra Art Gallery’s contemporary programme includes some of the biggest names in Indian contemporary art today, such as Atul Dodiya, Anju Dodiya, Nalini Malani, Praneet Soi, Shilpa Gupta, Jagannath Panda and more.
