JJ Valaya’s celebrated design sensibilities come together beautifully in a signature limited-edition collection of 6 rugs, titled Isfahan. Inspired by one of the oldest Persian cities and its famed architecture and motifs, the designs in this collection exude the cultural reality of an era gone by, but with a modern twist.

This exquisite hand-knotted rug has been woven with natural, handspun silk and fine, hand carded wool. A layered effect has been created in the piece by intricate shearing.

The rug (if not available in ready stock) can be made to order in 4 different sizes: 6 x 4 feet, 7 x 5 feet, 10 x 8 feet, 12 x 9 feet. Time taken to weave the rug will vary depending on size. There may be slight colour variation between the image and the actual rug.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery if the item reaches you in damaged condition.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Do not use any harsh brushes to clean the rug or carpet. Soft brooms can be used on a regular basis for cleaning. You can also vacuum regularly to keep dirt from getting trapped in fibres. If a spill occurs, blot immediately, but do not rub the stain. Expose the rug or carpet to the sun for some time if it gets wet. Rotate the rug occasionally to equalize wear. Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling. If a thread comes loose, do not pull on it; instead, trim gently with scissors. Periodic professional cleaning of rugs and carpets is recommended.
