ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Fascinated by architectural forms and landscapes, the aerial view of cities, ancient statues and sculptures, and various cultures and civilizations, Rajesh Srivastava’s works are visual expressions of his personal experiences and social encounters. Born in 1974, Rajesh Srivastava got his formal art training under the supervision of master realist painters of Bengal, Vikash Bhattacharya and Viren Goutam Bhattacharya.
A recipient of the National Award in Painting by the Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi, Rajesh has over 30 group shows, 5 solo shows, and several public art projects to his credit. He has exhibited all across India and also in Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and London.
