{"title":"Dushyant Patel","description":"\u003cp\u003eBorn in 1987, Dushyant Patel is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Baroda. Working across painting and printmaking, he has pursued his undergraduate studies at the C.N. College of Fine Arts Ahmedabad and his post-diploma from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDushyant uses various mundane yet metaphorical objects such as apples, crows, cows, cats, cacti and more to explore human relationships, human thoughts, societal beliefs and more. He questions various aspects of the social realm by utilizing humour as a shield.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDushyant is a recipient of many awards such as the prestigious H R D fellowship in 2016, the prestigious H R D Scholarship Award 2011, Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy Printmaking (Artist Category) Ahmedabad 2009, amongst others. He has participated in many national and international exhibitions through various group and solo presentations like Rhapsody of Realities, Archer Art Gallery, Ahmedabad 2022, The Print: Matter in Matrix, curated by Bhavna Kakar and Satyajit Dave, Latitude 28, Delhi 2020, Seven Printmakers of Baroda Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda 2018, Out of Shadows, Pune Biennale, Pune 2017, to name a
