Description

The Fireside Chair, with its simple and elegant design, is inspired from the classic Le Corbusier chair. Le Corbusier (1887-1965), whose real name was Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, was a Swiss-French architect, designer and urban planner, who was also a pioneer of modern architecture. He is renowned for designing buildings in cities across the world, and most famously, for designing the city of Chandigarh in Northern India. He is also famous for his classic and now iconic furniture designs.
The Fireside Chair’s flat, sloping back is crafted from hand-woven cane, while the inclined seat and laterally bridged legs are completed in natural teak.
