ABOUT Chandan Roy

Born in 1959, Chandan Roy is an Indian sculptor who mainly works with bronze. From religious sculptures of Ganesha to figurative works depicting people from different facets of society, Chandan Roy exhibits immense skill and a mastery of the medium. He has participated in several group shows throughout his career, including those at Chitrakoot Art Gallery, Academy of Fine Arts, Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Emami Art Gallery, Lalit Kala Academy, Indian Habitat Centre, Jehangir Art Gallery and Art for Concern. He is a member of Calcutta Sculptors.
